Day 1: Arrive Hanoi

Meals: 1 Dinner

Arriving at Noi Bai airport, welcome by Palm Vietnam’s Tour guide and transfer to the reserved hotel in Ha Noi. Dinner at a local restaurant, relax and enjoy your first evening in The Capital of Vietnam. First destination of Indochina tour.
Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

NOTE: - During the months of October, November and all Mondays of the year Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, museums in Hanoi will remain closed and will be replaced by a panoramic visit.

Morning: You will be transferred to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi - It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - The first Imperial school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly and lunch at local restaurant.

 

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner

Pick up at the hotel at around 8:00 am to 8:30 am leave Hanoi by shuttle bus (SIC) for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the traditional sailing junk.

Have lunch with regional fresh seafood while explore Halong bay on the most wonderful route. Land on a beautiful island, enjoy the great view of Halong bay, swim in the emerald water of Halong Bay or relax by the beach. Visit caves and Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Join the Crew’s squid fishing or enjoy a Karaoke party.
Overnight on board.

 

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

Wake up and enjoy the sunrise, a wholesome breakfast before visiting the recently discovered Grotto with its great views. Continue visiting bay En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations. After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on Board.

Check-out the boat and take a shuttle van directly to Hanoi Airport to catch a flight to Hue.

Day 5: Hue

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

Breakfast, visit the last imperial capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945 and has recently been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. A day tour of Hue offers us an opportunity to explore the "Forbidden City", Imperial Palace or another nice boat cruise on the Huong River to view some fine examples of Buddhist architecture and visit Thien Mu pagoda.

This is your chance to explore the center where the history, culture and romance all combine. Visit Khai Dinh Tomb and Tu Hieu pagoda - The pagoda was built by Nhat Dinh in 1843, with the help of the king's eunuchs and courtiers.
Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoian

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

Breakfast, Heading south, we visit the fascinating Cham museum in Danang and explore the Buddhist Shrines of the Marble Mountain Caves.

Departure to Hoian, a small and charming town that located by Thu Bon River. Afternoon we will make a stroll between the 844 houses and temples in Hoian, including the Tanky's House, 200 years of antiquity, with Chinese poems written in nacar inlaid, or ever the structure oldest call "The House at Tran Phu St.", made of carved wood. Visit city's Market, one of the most colorful places of the trip.
Overnight in Hoi an.

 

Day 7: Hoian

Meals: 1 Breakfast

Breakfast and free day for shopping and beach. Overnight in Hoian.

 

Day 8: Danang - Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

Meals: 1 Breakfast

After breakfast, transfer to Danang Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Guests are welcomed by Palm Vietnam travel’s driver, transfer directly to the hotel for check in.
Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 9: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

Half day for Cuchi tunnel may start in the morning. The revolutionary center of the guerrilla’s tunnel system covers close to 200 km underground, and the secrete system once dug under an US air base. The tunnels once spanned even to the area close to the Cambodian border to the city limits of Ho Chi Minh City. Here we will be able to know the laborious life of the Cuchi guerrillas in the tunnels of hundreds of kilometers.

A brief city tour visits two fine examples of French colonial architecture, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office, then visit the War Musem and Ben Thanh Market.
Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 10: Saigon - Vinh Long (Mekong Delta) - Saigon

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

After breakfast, start a full day trip to Cai Be, the watery world of the Mekong Delta. Take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation and try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards.

Enjoy the landscape of the Mekong delta where we take a boat to visit the floating market CAIBE. Along the way, you will stop at a candy factory and orchard garden where you have an opportunity to listen to traditional music.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a riverside restaurant with local Elephant Ear Fish, then cross the river by motorized boat to visit some fluvial islands and explore local brick kil. Your driver will meet you at Vinh Long pier then take you back Saigon.
Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 11: Saigon - Phnom Penh

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Dinner

Free and easy till time the driver transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a flight to Phnompenh - a famous city of Cambodia. Pick you up on arrival and transfer to the hotel, check in and free time at leisure on your own of exploration the city. Half day city tour. Royal Palace, National Museum and Wat Phnom.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

 

Day 12: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Meals (At Buffet Apsara Show): 1 Breakfast, 1 Dinner

Breakfast at hotel, Transfer to Siem Reap by flight, on arrival transfer to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon visit Angkor Wat and transfer back to hotel after viewing sunset at Bakheng Mountain. Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 13: Siem Reap

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

Breakfast at hotel. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers, Pre Rup, East Mebon, and Neak Poan. Lunch then visit Krovan, Royal Bath of Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei temples. Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit to the floating village and take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 14: Siem Reap - Vientaine

Meals: 1 Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Siem Reap International airport for Vientaine by driver. On arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

After a short rest we head out to see the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.

From here climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River.

Decenting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Your evening is free to explore the Night Market and sample some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants the town has to offer. Meals on your own.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

Day 15: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave - Khouangsi Waterfall

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

This morning you have the option and opportunity to rise early and participate in the daily morning ritual of Alms Giving, you will experience saffron-clad monks collecting offerings or ‘Alms’ from faithful local residents. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the daily procession.

After breakfast back at the hotel we begin our journey to Khouangsi Waterfall stopping along the way to visit the morning Phousi Market, this where all locals of Luang Prabang come to do their daily shopping. You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos.

On arrival at the Khouangsi Waterfall you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch below the falls.

Upon return to Luang Prabang we board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.

Returning to Luang Prabang we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax.

Day 16: Luang Prabang - flight to Vientiane

Meals: 1 Breakfast, 1 Dinner

After breakfast back at your hotel we take a stroll through the Dalat Sao or morning market full of local foodstuffs from the farms and jungles surrounding Luang Prabang. From here it is a short walk to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. We then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Vientiane.

You are seeing the major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, Wat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the national icon of Laos, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph, from there you visit COPE Center. The COPE was created in response to the need to provide UXO survivors with the care and support they required, namely by way of orthotic and prosthetic devices. This museum was set after in 1997 to help covering the victim during Indochina war.

Heading for the waterfront your evening is free to enjoy a few drinks watching the sunset over the Mekong River, explore the Night Market and take in some of the city’s nightlife. Dinner in the local restaurant.
Overnight in Vientiane.

 

Day 17: Vientiane - Departure (No guide)

Meals: 1 Breakfast

This morning is free until transfer to the airport for your departure flight./.
